Happy Birthday Appa

I somehow deleted this original post. So I'm re-posting it. Lost all comments though :(

Today is my father's birthday. So here I am with the card that I made for him.

I tried a black and white combination. I used the Itsy Bitsy Flourishes stencil and colored it with black ink pad. I used the 'Follow your own' stamp set from Unity for the center and the bottom part of the card, including the sentiment.

A closer look at the sentiment stamping.

I'm still learning the curves of stamping. Please do leave your thoughts and comments.

Just Sayin!

Hello people, I'm back again with another CAS creation... I've been experimenting with stamping and this particular one uses Unity "Follow Your Own" set.

Here is the card.

I have used the flowers and the 'Just Sayin' sentiment from the stamp set. Colored the image with my sketch pen. Cut the border with my border punch.

CAS Joy Card

Hello all, I'm back again with a CAS "Wishing you Joy" card. I've become a fan of CAS cards because, one - I really like them and two - because I can finish it quickly. Finding time for crafting has become really difficult for me now :) and so the second reason has become a major factor in deciding my crafting style :)

Onto the card. What really inspired me to make this card was the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch challenge!

Also, I was waiting to use my Unity Stamp sets!! So here comes the card!

The "wish" and the "wishing you joy" are from the Unity - Follow Your Own" stamp set. The decorative lines are from the Sweet and Sassy - Decorative Frame Toppers Clear Stamp Set

I used some bright colors of STIX Sketch pens, which actually don't show up very well in the picture. The colors are inspired by the Cosmic Color Challenge and the Unity Challenge.

It didn't really come up to my expectation!! Please do let me know your thoughts and comments...

Happy Anniversary

I'm back again, with a card that I made for our friend's Wedding Anniversary.

This is a small card with flowers and butterfly.

The sentiment is hand written. The butterfly, leaves and the border are using punches.

The flowers are handmade by me. I will share the tutorial for the flowers

Please let me know your comments.
