Gold Christmas

Hello everyone!!! I'm here to share a CAS Christmas card that I made today.

So here is the card:

I cut the 2 ornaments on my cricut. I got the cut files from Bird's cards. It is called Baubles 3.

For the ornament on the left, I used the solid bauble die cut and covered it with golden and green glitter tape. I then added a few punched flourishes and sequins.

For the ornament on the right, I took the bauble die cut with the flourishes, inked it and embossed it with Hero Arts Gold embossing powder. I then added a few green sequins.

The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps' Christmas Penguins Clear Stamp Set. The decorative line is from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps' Decorative Frame Toppers Clear Stamp Set. I stamped them and embossed them with Hero Arts Gold embossing powder. This is my first time using embossing powders. I'm delighted to see the transformation. I used an iron box, since I didn't have a heat tool. I see that the ink is not fully covered with the powder. So it is not perfect. Hope it'll improve :)

So, what do you think of it? Do let me know.

Congratulations

Hello everyone.. I'm here to share a card that I made today. I was able to spend some time on my craft table today, after almost a week.

I saw this sketch and the color inspiration on Verve challenge blog which really inspired me.

Here's the card that I made using the sketch and the color inspiration.
I cut the flowers on my Cricut using a cut file from the Cricut Design Space and the branches are from Bird's cards. The branches are actually grey. They appear a little darker in the photo. They have so many beautiful cut files for free.

I added some pearls for flower center.

The sentiment and the banner are from Unity Stamp's Basically Said kit. I love this big font sentiments set. I stamped it using grey ink. I fuzzy cut it and popped it on foam tape.

Hope you liked it. Please leave your thoughts and comments.

Hello everyone!! I'm here to share with you a CAS Christmas card.

Here is the card!!

I used the stamps from Joanna Sheen's "Make A Wish" set. I colored it using sketch pens. For the center of the Poinsettia, I used glitter. I used some sequins from my stash.

I used glitter glue to create the shape in the bottom part. The sentiment "Merry Christmas" is cut from.... MY NEW CRICUT  EXPLORE :D :D!!! yay!! My dear husband was very kind and bought me one yesterday :D :D I haven't stopped smiling since then :D

Hello

Hello everyone!! I'm here today to share a card that I made using a few stencils that had been sitting idle in my drawer for quite some time. I was inspired by quite a few challenges to take out my stencils.

Here is my card:

I used the Flourishes background stencil from Itsy Bitsy with my sketch to create the main design. Then I used this border stencil again from Itsy Bitsy with my gold glitter gel to draw on the earlier design.

In the second picture you can actually see the gold design. It was really tough to capture this on photo!!

The sentiment is handwritten. The butterfly is from MS punch.

And as a bonus, here is a little pic of my little crafting space. I have a table in a corner of our living room.

Here you can see this card in progress.

Happy Birthday

Hello everyone!! I'm sharing a CAS card that I made yesterday (World Card Making Day).

I liked the color combo shared by Gayatri Murali in Winnie and Walter for WCMD.

I used the sketch provided by Julie in Winnie and Walter for WCMD.

Here is my card:

I've used the digi 'Cosmos' from Digi Stamps 4 Joy. I colored it using sketch pens and used 3D Glitter liner for the flower centers. I used a glitter tape for the strip and added some sequins.

The sentiment is hand-written.

Thanks for stopping by. Please do leave your thoughts and comments.
